MY STORY:

Empowering Every Mind to Thrive

For over 25 years, I excelled as an HR leader, steadily climbing the career ladder through consistent promotions to the Vice President level. I led large, global teams across multiple countries, advised leaders at every level, and developed strategies to tackle complex organizational challenges.

But my life wasn’t just about work—at home, I was also balancing the demands of family, relationships, and personal growth. On the surface, it seemed I had it all together. But beneath the polished exterior, I was masking my true self, battling burnout, and sacrificing my own needs to meet the expectations of a world designed for neurotypical minds.

It wasn’t until my late diagnosis as AuDHD—a combination of Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD—that the pieces of my story finally clicked into place.

Suddenly, the patterns of extreme focus, high empathy, and relentless problem-solving made sense.

My neurodivergent brain helped me deeply listen, connect dots others might miss, juggle competing priorities, and solve challenges creatively in both work and life.

While I thrived in certain areas, I also faced struggles with perfectionism, overwhelm, and navigating workplaces designed for neurotypical norms, which made it harder to work in ways that felt authentic and natural to me.

Burnout as a Turning Point

Years of masking, overextending, and prioritizing others over myself culminated in severe burnout and multiple health issues—a state many neurodivergent individuals know all too well.

The crash forced me to reflect on how I had been navigating life and work: always “on,” always solving, and always adapting to fit in.

It also became a catalyst for change. I realized that the very systems I had worked so hard to improve for others often overlooked the needs of individuals like me.

This realization fueled my ‘why.’

I launched MindThrive Coaching to create a space where neurodivergent individuals can discover their strengths, align with their values, and design success—in both work and life—that feels authentic and sustainable.

I also aim to guide companies to reimagine workplaces where neurodivergent talent isn’t just accommodated—it’s celebrated.

This realization fueled my ‘why.’

I launched MindThrive Coaching to create a space where neurodivergent individuals can discover their strengths, align with their values, and design success—in both work and life—that feels authentic and sustainable.

I also aim to guide companies to reimagine workplaces where neurodivergent talent isn’t just accommodated—it’s celebrated.

As a late-diagnosed AuDHDer, I’ve walked the path of masking, burnout, and rediscovery.

This firsthand knowledge helps me guide clients to create strategies that align with their strengths, navigate obstacles, and build a life and career that feel authentic and sustainable.

With decades of experience as a senior-level HR leader, I’ve worked across all levels of organizations, from the C-Suite to entry-level employees.

I understand how neurodivergence intersects with leadership, team dynamics, and workplace processes—and I translate that understanding into actionable strategies that drive meaningful change. As a certified Green Belt in process improvement, I bring an additional layer of expertise in creating simplified, sustainable systems that support diverse teams and foster long-term success.

This unique combination of HR leadership and process expertise allows me to help companies build inclusive environments where every employee can thrive.

Personal Experience with ADHD in My Family

Beyond my professional expertise, my personal life has profoundly shaped my perspective.

Raising children with ADHD, and partnering with a spouse who also has ADHD, has deepened my understanding of how to support diverse needs, navigate challenges, and celebrate individuality.

These experiences have given me invaluable insight into the complexities of neurodivergence at home and in relationships, which I bring to my coaching practice.
